Kelly-Jane Wells - a 29 year old Fitness
Instructor - set a new lap record for the UK SCSA
Pickup Trucks at the Rockingham Oval on 12 June
2005 and, it is claimed, became Britain's fastest
lady racing driver. She set a lap time of 40.223
seconds (an average of 132.37 mph) in taking third
position in the day's first race.
