Rabbit VW Racing is a
Motorsport team set up by Karen Andrews, a former
Formula Woman racing driver. Our website has been
formed primarily to attract funding and sponsorship
for our racing team and advertise our sponsors but
also to assist those of you wanting help and advice
on anything motor orientated. Based in Nottingham,
it forms an ideal platform for any of your business
or motoring needs. Take a few minutes to have a
look around our website and I’m sure we have
something to offer you!
Our driver, Karen Andrews,
was a 2004 Formula Woman Contender. Chosen out of
over 10,000 other female applicants to race. Karen
now is an instructor for Formula Woman, assisting
them in their new Caterham Race Series and training
the new female applicants.
Karen’s main role is
the Team’s driver, although quite a novice to
racing, she has been driving since the tender age
of 4. She set the team up to start her racing
career and materialize as professional to
prospective sponsors. She has appeared several
times on TV programs such as Racing Rivals &
Formula Woman showing the lads how it is
done.
Karen is 24 and from
Selston in Nottinghamshire. Karen currently works
as a Design Engineer after working as a CAD
Production Engineer and a Design and Estimating
Manager. Karen enjoys drawing and photography, but
her main passion is cars, participating at track
days and karting. She also enjoys modifying cars
and when she was 17 she built her first car –
an Austin Metro - with the help of her stepfather.
