Notes

Started racing at age 5 with her father, grandfather and cousin (Sébastien Buemi, a leading Formula 3 driver); grandfather Georges has competed in les 24 Heures du Mans, the 24-h Rennen Nürburgring and Nürburgring 1000-km races.

"When you are on the track, it's exciting, the atmosphere is really great – the teams and the mechanics, the drivers, the speed. When you are at home, you do fitness, a lot of things you don't really like, but you do it for racing. Then you go on the track and it's really amazing!"

Lack of funding precluded a competitive ride in Formula 3, so Natacha planned to return to Formula BMW, but her entry was denied because of her Formula 3 experience – "Formula 3 was too expensive to continue. We thought it was better that we go one step back and pay to go in the best team and race for the best sponsor, but it was not possible to drive BMW. So we chose another option and now we are here in Mazda. Formula Mazda is a good series because it has some races with Champ Car and the American Le Mans Series."

Was approached by three-time Formula One World champion Niki Lauda and Willi Weber, seven-time Formula One champion Michael Schumacher's manager; was represented by Weber Management for three years.
