Sarah
Jordan

Sarah will be racing a Suzuki SV650 in the Bemsee Mini-twins class for 2004. She raced for two seasons in 1998/1999 on a 250, getting on the podium along with regular top five finishes - along with setting two fastest laps on race weekends during the season!

She is also a track-day instructor for one of the UK's largest track-day companies and has been given the opportunity to ride in the mini-twins with backing from her husbands Suzuki dealership.

Among her sponsors are Daytona, Furygan, Wurth, Performance Parts and Harris. This year she plans to complete most of the series and hopes to contest the 'axe-murderer' Supersport 600 class on a GSXR600 in 2005.

Her husband Steve raced at National Level in the 1990's alongside Steve Plater and the late Steve Hislop, also competing in the manic NW200 - and with his help she hopes to become more focused and even quicker this year.

2001-2002 – NO RACING

2003 – STARTED INSTRUCTING FOR ONE OF THE UK'S TOP TRACK-DAY COMPANIES WHICH NOT ONLY GAVE HER PLENTY OF TRACK TIME TO KEEP HER "EYE IN" BUT ALSO A LOT MORE TRACK EXPERIENCE, WITH TIME TO LEARN THE CIRCUITS AND THE TECHNICALITIES OF TRACK RIDING.

2004 – RACING IN THE BEMSEE MINITWINS SERIES ON A SUZUKI SV650K3 SUPPORTED BY HER HUSBANDS SUZUKI FRANCHISE, STEVE JORDAN MOTORCYCLES. ASSISTED BY FURYGAN LEATHERS, MOTOREX OILS AND WURTH LUBRICANTS. HER PLANS FOR THIS SEASON ARE TO COMPETE IN AS MANY ROUNDS AS POSSIBLE.

2005 – PLANS ARE TO COMPETE AT NATIONAL LEVEL "MRO" IN EITHER SUPERSPORT 400, 600 OR ONE MAKE SERIES.

"BEING A FEMALE IN A MALE-DOMINATED SPORT SURELY GETS YOU NOTICED. BEING FEMALE CERTAINLY DOESN'T MEAN THAT YOU CAN'T BE COMPETITIVE ALONGSIDE YOUR MALE COUNTERPARTS - UNLIKE MOST OTHER SPORTS.

IT JUST TAKES GUTS AND DETERMINATION.

THIS YEAR THE SERIES I AM COMPETING IN WILL BE COVERED BY WORLDWIDE MOTORCYCLE MAGAZINE T.W.O AND WILL SEE AUDIENCES AT THE MEETINGS OF OVER 10,000...AND MAYBE MORE. "
