My name is Bryce Martinez, I ’m 18 years
old and a home-schooled senior from Bronson,
Michigan. I started riding at the age of 3, I got
started because my parent use to race and work at
the local tracks and they got my older brother into
racing and I was always on or around his bike so my
parents went out and bought a pw50 for Christmas
and I have been hooked ever since. The reason I
continue to ride is because I love the challenge
motocross give you. I love going to new tracks and
learning new jumps or how to take that corner
better and faster. I love adrenaline rush, lining
up with 42 other women riders at Regional or at
nationals, no other sport will ever give you that
feeling.
The person who inspired me the most would be my
older brother, we grew up racing every weekend for
around 10 years, so I always went to him if I
needed help on or off the track. The most difficult
thing I had to overcome is coming back after being
injury a couple of times. The most exciting part
about being a motocross racer is lining up at the
Loretta Lynn’s for 4 years and I will be
lining up there again in two weeks for my 5th year.
Hopefully I can get some good results and make my
pro debut next year at Redbud if all goes well.

My advice to other women riders is stick with it
and have fun and mainly don’t listen to what
boys say, girls just want to ride.
