After watching Josh race for 9 years, I decided I wanted to give it a try. In the middle of the 2004 racing season, we bought a pony stock car. Unfortunately luck was not on my side because in 5 races, I had already blown 2 engines. So my racing came to a quick halt in 2004. With the help of some very special people, I moved to the Bomber class and began racing in May of 2005. After several top 5's and 10's, I finally won on August 20, 2005. In 2006, I hope to travel to several different tracks with my husband and gain as much experience as I can.

March 21-22- I attended the Dale McDowell/Ray Cook Driving School and had a blast. It is the first time I have been in a late model car, so it was a huge change for me. The first 2 times out, I was a little slow while trying to get used to the car and track. Then, Dale gave me a ride in the 2 seater car to show me the braking points and throttle points. With that advice, my 3rd and 4th time in the car were much better and I had a great time and learned a lot of information that hopefully I can use in my car.

The 2006 season was an up and down season for me. I finished in the top 5 9 out of 13 races, but couldn't break through with a win. I also had several wrecks that prevented me from being able to complete a full season. I did get to travel to a new track- West GA Speedway.
