Hometown: Tallahassee, Florida.
I started to ride when I was about 7 years old.
My dad used to ride and raced some local stuff. He
took me to a race one day and I got to see what it
was all about and was hooked from there. At about 9
years old, I was racing 52 weekends out of the
year.
I continue to ride because I love it. I really
do. Sometimes I take a break from it because I feel
like I need it. But after just two weeks, I am
dying to get back on the bike. It’s in my
blood and I love the feeling of getting away and
riding with friends.
The most exciting part about being a
professional motocross racer has been having the
opportunities to do many different things.
Opportunities range from TV shows, video games,
trying other motorsport activities, the awesome
sponsors and swag you get from them and meeting all
the new people. The most difficult thing I have had
to overcome would be the injuries. They aren’t
fun to deal with and even at one point in my career
I went 3 years of one right after the next. It took
a toll on me and I was devastated but never gave up
and always kept pushing. I have been inspired by my
parents and my grandparents who gave me the
opportunity to even ride and then push me along the
way.
My favorite food is steak and sweet potatoes.
And my favorite movie is Days of Thunder.
Advice to other women riders out there: Enjoy
riding. If you want to take it to that next level
it takes a lot of hard work and dedication. Never
give up and give it 110% every time.
