Birthdate:
September 17, 1982
Hometown: Topeka, KS
Jenny officially began her racing career at the
age of 7 in quarter midgets, where she competed
regularly until the age of 16. Along the way, she
won two national championships, 16 regional titles,
more than 100 feature races, and set more than 50
track records, many of which still stand today.
At the age of 16, Jenny began racing in the
highly competitive NASCAR Weekly Racing Series Late
Model division. In 1999, Jenny began competing at
I-44 Speedway, now renamed Midway Speedway, a
beautiful 3/8 mile track located in Lebanon,
Missouri. It was not until July of 2000, that she
began racing weekly on the high banks of I-70
Speedway's 1/2 mile track in Odessa, Missouri. Her
racing success has continued, where in just two
seasons she worked her way up to being a consistent
top-five contender.
In 2001, Jenny completed her first full season
at I-70 Speedway finishing a strong 3rd in the
season points championship. She was also fast
qualifier at 5 events throughout the year.
The 2002 season only enabled Jenny to add even
more successes to her list of racing
accomplishments. She has now become not only the
first female to set the pole at I-70 Speedway and
the fastest female qualifier, but also the first,
and so far the only, female to win a feature race
in the premier division in the 33 year history of
I-70 Speedway.
2003 proved to be the most successful season yet
for Jenny. She was a strong competitor throughout
most of the season for the I-70 Speedway Season
Points Championship. Unfortunately, she fell a
little short of the win, but was able to bring home
a solid second place finish. Along the way, she was
able to add five more feature wins to her record
including: 3 of the 4 extended lap special features
and the premier event at I-70, the 2003 World Cup
500.
Jenny is not just a top racecar driver, but also
a straight A honor student who graduated from
Topeka High School in 2001 amongst the top 5% of
all Kansas students. She attended the University of
Kansas and graduated with Honors in May of 2005.
She earned her bachelors degree in Business
Administration with an emphasis in Marketing.
